I thoroughly enjoyed the 2 days and learnt all sorts of new techniques to use in the future. I have still to complete my sketch book of the course but have every intention of doing so. Everything has been organised for sticking in. I really liked the way you encouraged the sketch books - a great way to look back and get ideas.

You worked us hard which was great. I certainly didn't feel I was wasting my time and it was great value for money.

Thanks very much for all your input at last week's weekend drawing course. It was great fun and allowed me time to reinforce some aspects of drawing that I had touched on before and to experience new techniques in mixed media. You worked us hard and we covered a lot of ground but it was very enjoyable and I felt I learnt a lot in a short space of time.

'I have attended several of Mark’s courses in different venues; I have found his approach to teaching to be supportive and enjoyable, and have seen a definite improvement in my work. He balances the needs of the group with the requirements of the individual, and I have found it beneficial to receive input from another, more objective source, while learning to approach my own work with a more critical eye, which makes both the process and the end result more satisfying. Also? There's coffee and biscuits!'
